Issue No. 2 - Back to reality. The scholastic calendar says Summer is over and Fall is upon us, but the weather in Los Angeles is always at its most oppressive in September. The snaps are a collection of moments from the farmer’s market, miniature golf, flea markets, early evening walks, plant shopping, meals with friends and a few from a quick work trip to Austin. I also included a few shots from a couple of LAFC matches, including the home debut of Son Heung Min. At the end of September, I had the pleasure of seeing Spiritualize perform “Pure Phase” in its entirety. I included two shots from that epic show. I made it through half a dozen roles of films, shooting mainly with the little Pentax ESPIO. I managed to find a Yashica T4 Super D in very good condition and have been impressed with the Zeiss Lens.
